Prohibit consecutive slots: allow the reservation if the slot has already started
December 2015

The " Prohibit consecutive slots" function in the subscription configuration ( Administration > Users menu) now has a new option allowing you to offer more flexibility to your members.

Let's take the following example: Mr DUPONT has reserved a slot on court n°1 from 5pm to 6pm.

If you set up a rule to prohibit consecutive slots, Mr DUPONT will not be able to book the next slot from 6pm to 7pm, even if his quota allows it and even after having finished playing his first slot from 5pm to 6pm.

However, it could be interesting to make an exception to the rule: why not let Mr DUPONT play a second consecutive hour if the slot is free and has already started?

By activating this new option, you offer the possibility to Mr DUPONT to reserve the next slot from 6pm to 7pm, under the following conditions:

  • the reservation must be made until X minutes after thestart of the slot (see "Adjusting the closing time of a slot" in the subscription configuration),
  • the next slot (from 7pm to 8pm) must not already be reserved by the same user.

The BalleJaune/OpenResa team wishes you all the best for this new year!
