Today we present a new option designed to enhance the user experience. You can now set a transition time for users to access an extra day in the calendar, until now defaulting to midnight, you can now customize this schedule. This is particularly useful if your slots are very popular and not all users can log in at midnight.
For example, you allow same-day bookings only. By default, users have to wait until midnight 00:00 to reserve a slot for the following day. By setting a transition time of 21:00, the user will be able to book for the following day from 21:00 the day before.
Until now, users had to wait until midnight to access an extra day in the calendar, which could be restrictive and unequal for those who are not available at that time. With this new option, you have the possibility of shifting this timetable and thus giving as many people as possible a chance of obtaining the most sought-after slots.
Here's how to configure this new feature:
1. Go to Administration > Users > Subscriptions
2. Click on the subscription of your choice, then go to the Permissions tab
3. In the first section entitled Authorized calendars & number of days to book, click on Edit
4. Locate the Transition time to additional day option. This option defaults to midnight (00:00). Modify it to suit your needs.
5. Apply these settings to individual subscriptions as required.
