On the new version, a "closed" schedule was always visible on the reservation module in order to inform members of this closure.
However, this is not ideal if you have a lot of schedules to close, for example clay courts in winter.
A new option has been added in Administration > Schedules > Schedules configuration, you can now check"Hide schedule completely".
