Tournoi en simple hommes et femmes / Men and Women singles tournament

Le tournoi en simple hommes et femmes aura lieu samedi et dimanche le 17 et 18 août. La catégorie ‘’Débutants’’ est toujours là cette année.  

Informations importantes à noter. 

• Les inscriptions : 19 juillet au 10 août : feuille d’inscription au babillard du balcon du chalet ou par courriel à tournament@tennisclearpoint.com.
• Date limite : 10 août à 12h; 

• Catégories A (4.0 et plus), B (2.5 à 3.5) et C (2.5 et moins); 

• L’entraineur et la coordonnatrice du tournoi se chargeront du classement des joueurs; 

• Minimum de 2 matches garantis; 

• BBQ sera servi dimanche après les finales soit 12h30 :

• IMPORTANT : IL FAUT S’INSCRIRE AU BBQ AU PLUS TARD LE MERCREDI 14 AOÛT 18H, COÛT DE $10 PAR PERSONNE, GRATUIT POUR LES ENFANTS DE MOINS DE 6 ANS;

• Paiements en argent comptant seulement (dans une enveloppe avec votre nom et BBQ) mis dans la boîte à lettres du balcon du chalet, ou le jour même sur place;

• En cas de pluie, les matchs seront reportés aux mercredis suivants, lors de laligue du double mixte. 

 
RÈGLEMENTS 

• L’horaire des matchs sera affiché au babillard du chalet le lundi 13 août en soirée; 

• Chaque joueur se doit de noter son pointage et l’inscrire sur la feuille de pointage au babillard; 

• Tous les joueurs devront être disponibles pour la durée du tournoi, soit le samedi et dimanche, sinon le joueur perdra par défaut; 

• Les balles seront fournies pour les finales uniquement. 

 
FORMAT 

• Premier match de format pro 8. 8 premiers jeux par une différence de 2 jeux. Quand les jeux sont à 7-7, il y aura un bris d’égalité de 7 points avec une différence de 2 points; 

• Deuxième match de format pro 10. 10 premiers jeux par une différence de 2 jeux. Quand les jeux sont à 9-9, il y aura un bris d’égalité de 7 points avec une différence de 2 points; 

• Les deux joueurs qui auront gagné leurs deux matches ou ayant gagné le plus de jeux iront en finale; 

• Pour les finales, ce sera un 2/3 de manches. 

The men/women double tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday August 17 and 18. The Beginners category is still there this year. 

Some info to keep in mind. 

• Registration: July 19 th until August 10 th : signup sheets available on the billboard at the chalet or emailing to tournament@tennisclearpoint.com;

• Deadline: August 10 th at 12h; 

• Categories A (4.0 or more), B (2.5 to 3.5) and C (2.5 or less); 

• The coach and the tournament coordinator will be in charge of the players ranking;  

• Minimum of 2 matches guarantied; 

• BBQ will be after the final on Sunday at 12h30:

• IT IS IMPORTANT TO REGISTER FOR THE BBQ BEFORE WEDNESDAY AUGUST 14 th AT 6PM AND THE COST IS $10 PER PERSON, FREE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 6;

• Payment is by money only (in an envelop with your name and for BBQ) put in the mail box on the deck of the chalet, or on site on the day of the event;

• If rain forces cancellation, matches will be held the following Wednesday evenings during the Mixed Doubles league. 

 
RULES 

• The schedule will be available for viewing at the chalet billboard as of Monday August 13 th in the evening; 

• Once you have played your match, please write it on the score sheet on the board at the club (please give all the details, even the tie-break score);  

• All players must be available during all days of the tournament (Saturday and Sunday), if not the player lose by default; 

• Balls will be supplied only for the finales. 

 
FORMAT  

• First match, Pro 8 format, first to 8 games by a difference of 2 games. Should there be a tie at 7-7, then a tie breaker of 7 points and 2 points difference will determine the winners;

• Second match, Pro 10 format, first to 10 games by a difference of 2 games. Should there be a tie at 9-9, then a tie breaker of 7 points and 2 points difference will determine the winners;

• The two players who win there two matches or the most games will go into the finale;

• The final will be a 2/3 sets.
